The Alignment of Management System Standards
Thea Dunmire represents the American Industrial Hygiene Association in the development of management systems. She is a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO Technical Committee 176 (TAG 176) working on the ISO 9001 quality management system standard, and TAG 207 working on the ISO 14001 environmental management system standard. Dunmire’s participation in the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 revision processes help her contribute to the occupational safety and health management system standard, ISO 45001, currently being developed. In this video, Dunmire discusses how, with the revisions taking place to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, there must be alignment among ISO management system standards.
